SmartLog 5 is an advanced FMS platform for 2G/3G Networks that features integrated CAN Bus and optional communication support including RF mode and automatic Iridium satellite fallback.
SmartLog 5 supports a variety of extended interface board options on a per project basis to provide your customers with bespoke solutions for their most challenging fleet management requirements.
Versatile Vehicle Tracking Platform
The SmartLog 5 supports an external Iridium network satellite modem for automatic fallback when GSM/GPRS networks are not available. Satellite message size is user-defined for increased cost efficiency. With Iridium satellite network support, the SmartLog 5 is suitable for public, military, commercial and private sector applications where GSM/GPRS network coverage is an issue.
The on-board CAN Bus transceiver, supports J1939 and OBD-II protocols providing solutions for both commercial and private fleets.
WorldFleetLog
Integration with EDT’s WorldFleetLog Web-based tracking and monitoring solution, provides real time vehicle location, vehicle status, and driver behavior data. Generated Reports based on user-defined parameters are easily accessed by designated fleet managers.
WorldFleetLog Reports
The WorldFleetLog report generation engine is an easy-to-use tool to automatically schedule, create and deliver hundred’s of standard and user-defined reports. Generated reports are easily exported to Excel, PDF and XML formats.
